At Genesis Counseling & Consulting, Inc. in Boca Raton, Florida, we specialize in working with families who have recently gone through a major life transition, such as divorce or remarriage. We believe that when one member of the family comes in for counseling, the entire family benefits! As a parent, it can be overwhelming to think about taking your child to therapy. You may be wondering what therapy will look like for your child, what to expect, or if your child really needs therapy.
Through individual therapy, you can discover your true self. You are able to reconnect with your values, to your wants, needs and most importantly to begin to cultivate a life worth living. Our therapists provide a warm, supportive and non-judgmental environment to help you along your journey. Engaging in the therapeutic process often helps to a decrease in anxiety and depression, an increase in relationship satisfaction and can help to improve your overall sense of well-being. Individual therapy can lead to better communication with others, more awareness of self and a sense of feeling more grounded and stable.
Becoming a couple is more than just being friends. When we become a couple, we create something more than ourselves. As a couple, we create a container that holds our hopes, dreams, fears and desires. When relationships work, it can lead to a fulfilling life. More often than not, we realize that the friendship is not what we expected and the container of our couple starts to feel less secure. As this happens, we can feel as if the container is breaking up or if the foundations are cracking. Disappointment, anger and fear begin to replace the initial hopes and dreams placed on the relationship. This is the point where couples counseling can be supportive.
Your family is what shapes and influences your life, how we think and view ourselves, what we do and even how we feel. This makes the family a powerful system that can get stuck in roles and patterns that are difficult to break away from. Each member reacts and responds to one another in a familiar, patterned way, a way that everyone in the family becomes used to. In family therapy we aim to get off the unhealthy track and invite new ways of being and responding into the family system.
We work with individuals to empower their lives with wholehearted living. We work together with you to create the life you have dreamed of by releasing the pain, fear and self-doubt that is holding you back on taking action, up until now. Our empowerment coaches are committed to walking with you on this journey while you uncover and develop the connection to your passion, to what brings you joy and to your true purpose. Our empowerment coaching services have gone global! We have created the ability to provide coaching outside of the office. We offer coaching telephonically and through Skype. We have an array of services and packages to meet your needs.
